Watermark
The log-built Main House at Watermark, framed by mountains and gardens

Accommodations

At Watermark, the cabins aren’t the destination — the river, the forest, and your people are. Five unique cabins exist to hold your group gently between gatherings, each with its own level of comfort and charm, from cozy, rustic hideaways to more private, fully equipped spaces.

The property comfortably hosts up to 10 guests (up to 15 if sharing accommodations), always as one private group with the whole property to yourselves. While plans are underway to expand with new accommodations, this time is a special opportunity to experience the retreat in its original, intimate form while we design for the future.

Cedar Cabin

The Cedar Cabin is as inviting as its name suggests — warm, woodsy, and infused with the scent of cedar trees. As the most comfortable accommodation outside the Main House, it features a king-size bed, a kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, and coffee maker, and a private bathroom with shower.

With its own heat source and serene setting, the Cedar Cabin is ideal for guests seeking both comfort and quiet.

Forest Cabin

The Forest Cabin is a cozy, minimalist hideaway designed for those seeking simplicity and solitude. Inside, you’ll find a queen-size bed and not much else. While compact in size, the experience is anything but — it’s a beautiful way to fall asleep under the stars with the comfort of electricity and WiFi.

The Forest Cabin shares a nearby bathroom (with shower) with the Othello Cabin and offers a private outdoor table for two — perfect for morning coffee or quiet evening chats.

a piece of local history

Othello Cabin

The Othello Cabin is a piece of local history — once the Guard’s house along the railway, now transformed into a peaceful forest-side retreat. Nestled among the trees, it features a futon bed, warm lighting, and a cozy, nostalgic feel. Guests can enjoy a small outdoor table for two, perfect for morning tea or late-night stargazing.

While the cabin has electricity and WiFi, it remains unheated (available all season with a portable heater) — ideal for those who enjoy a more rustic, nature-connected experience.

the original dwelling, est. 1940s

Homestead Cabin

The Homestead Cabin is the original dwelling on the property, dating back to the 1940s — full of history, character, and rustic charm. As the most rugged of our accommodations, it offers a simple, camp-style setup with flexible bed configurations, making it ideal for groups or guests who don’t mind sharing space.

A full bathroom with shower is located just outside, and while the cabin doesn’t have heat (available all season with a portable heater), it does have electricity and a small porch for relaxing outdoors. It’s a back-to-basics experience rooted in community, connection, and the spirit of the land.
